Job Description:
As the Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of our rugby sevens initiatives. From grassroots programs to elite tournaments, you will ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success and growth of rugby sevens within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement operational strategies to support the growth and development of rugby sevens programs.
Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation for sevens events, product sales and deliveries.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless coordination of sevens tournaments and competitions.
Oversee budgeting and financial management related to rugby sevens operations.
Develop and motivate a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support to achieve objectives.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of operational processes in the context of rugby sevens, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices specific to rugby sevens to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, sports management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the sports industry, with a focus on rugby sevens.
Deep understanding of rugby sevens and its unique requirements, from grassroots development to elite-level tournaments.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams in the context of rugby sevens.
