Exciting Update: Lionesses Management Team for Emirates Dubai 7s
With just under two weeks until the Lionesses make their highly anticipated debut at the Emirates Dubai 7s, we're thrilled to announce our management team for the tournament.
We are pleased to welcome back Paul Tietjens as Head Coach. Paul, who previously coached the Lionesses in 2022, returns with a wealth of experience from the last two seasons working with teams such as the All Blacks Sevens, Chiefs Sevens, and Nagato Blue Angels in Japan. Paul will lead the team on-field with his vast coaching expertise.
Supporting Paul is our Head of Medical, Beth Jefferies, who will ensure the team’s physical well-being throughout the tournament. Completing the management trio is Dale Winslow, who joins as Team Manager for the event. Dale will take up a full-time administrative role with EggChaser from January, overseeing both the Elite and Academy Programmes.
Off the field, Arun Watkins, CEO of EggChaser and founder of the Lionesses, will step into the role of Director of Rugby for the tournament. This will be Arun’s first visit to Dubai in a non-playing capacity, and he’s excited to contribute his leadership in this new role.
We will share more team updates for the 2024 tournament shortly. As always, we’d like to express our sincere gratitude to our team partners – Bellissima Italia & EggChaser 7s for their ongoing support.
Stay tuned for more exciting news as we countdown to Dubai!
