EGGCHASER AND SHELFORD EXTEND THEIR PARTNERSHIP FOR 2025!
Following a strong first 6 months working together we are delighted to announce an extension to the partnership between EggChaser and Shelford Rugby Club, which will see a Youth Rugby 7s return to Shelford for it’s second edition.
The tournament which welcomed 2200 youngsters in July, will now become a 3 day event with a Friday Night, Saturday and Sunday competition. The tournaments will be open to local and international sides, whilst the EggChaser 7s Academy squads will also be in attendance.
The two, already share a fantastic working relationship with the club regularly hosting Performance Camps and being the training base for the EggChaser 7s East Anglia Academy Squad.
When asked about the partnership extension,CEO & Founder of EggChaser, Arun Watkins said – “Last minute, Shelford offered us the ability to provide rugby for 1000s of youngsters nationwide, now with more preparation time we are looking forward to expanding and improving on our inaugural edition. Big thanks to Solo, Rory and the Shelford committee to making this happen!”
The tournament will run between the 27th and 29th June 2025, they'll be competitions for Boys & Girls teams aged 12 to 18.
