Woodhams earns scholarship call!
We’re delighted to confirm that Lily Woodhams, a member of our South East Academy has become our latest member of our EggChaser 7s Academy Scholarship Group.
Woodhams, who began her journey with the Academy with a masterclass at Reigate RFC – just 12 months ago. Is a current U18 Member of our South East Squad, whilst playing her XVs rugby for her home club – Old Reigatian RFC.
She has already represented the U23, and Senior Development Squad already and will be pushing for opportunities with the Lionesses in the future. She also spent time with Harlequins CoE and Scottish Qualified.
On making the step up into the scholarship squad, Lily had this to add “I’m delighted to play for the Eggchaser Team and secure a scholarship, which is a great honour. I thoroughly enjoy my Eggchaser experience. The environment of quality players and coaches has enhanced my game and given me the opportunity to travel and make new friends. I’d encourage any talented players with a passion for 7’s to get involved at one of the regional academies.”
We look forward to supporting Lily’s development across the next 12 months.
